J-tube is finally out. Thanks to all the doctors from Mission Hills, Global Cost OC, UCLA, & UCI.
God willing she should never have to have this again.
We know now how her cancer came about at least key attributes that contributed to the this dreadful cancer.
Pfizer: Clinical Trials long term use will cause cancer- 1 year all had gotten cancer.
Good thing Amina did not participate all that did died, probably due to Chemo.
Control group "60,000 and growing.
How the hell does a pill take 60,000 life's and yet still is prescribed by doctors." Lots of lobster dinners

At this time my wife was also using the cream prescribed by the same Doctor. This doctor also prescribed PANTOPRAZOLE this drug should be taken for only 10 days. OR 8 weeks under Doctor supervision. Prolong side affect is CANCER OF THE STOMACH!

We all asked ourselves on Oct. 8, 2015 what Amina could have done to deserve this kind of news.
She was still down in recovery from an endoscopy when the doctor called the room where I was by myself praying for her to be ok and for her severe pain to be something simple.
The doctor told me it was cancer.
It felt like my worst nightmare; at least I thought it was my worst nightmare. I spent a few minutes thinking the same as everyone, why her? Not knowing much about cancer, I was mostly afraid to learn what kind of pain and suffering she was going through.
Every year at Christmas all she asked was for everyone to be healthy, especially our two children. Amina has always given what she could, even if it meant for her to do without. Regardless if we could pay our bills or not, she would send money to her home country Afghanistan for those who were less fortunate than us.
The doctors came to the conclusion that it was signet cell stomach cancer. They wanted to have a PET scan done and even though it would have been easy to do right there, they told us it is not practice for in-patient PET scans to be done. We had to leave and go find our PCP, do a PET scan and return in 24 hours to have the cancer removed.
Well it wasn’t possible to have a PET scan in 24 hours and we lost nine doctors by leaving the hospital because our insurance did not cover the doctors outside of an ER visit. My friend, who was also a doctor, read the report and advised me that we have maybe a two week window to get this out of her and if this gets to other organs it will move from a stage two to stage four.
What happened next was the real nightmare. We saw the PCP the next day and he gave his authorization and sent the message to membership referral support. However, we had to contact a GI doctor before a PET scan could be scheduled.
After calling every GI and hearing maybe she can come in next month for a visit, I was exploding. I asked who I need to speak with to get my wife the treatment anyone should deserve. We found a GI doctor in Santa Ana who saw us on day four of our 14-day journey. After the GI approved the PET scan, we started to have hope again.
PET scans in Santa Ana were booked until December. I told them Amina may be gone by then. I contacted our insurance company and asked to speak with the director. The director Linda found an opening by our home in Mission Viejo, but we had to wait until Monday due to it being the weekend.
Monday morning we received a call from the radiology department stating we could come in three hours earlier. Every hour counted with one of the rarest and most aggressive cancers in Amina. We got the PET scan done on day eight and thought we could then see the surgeon. We thought wrong. Now we had to get an oncologist to approve the need for a surgeon.
Our angel Linda once again helped by finding an oncologist who could see us on his lunch break. I told Linda she is the most helpful director I know. Linda laughed and said she isn’t the director, she is in member services.
Our surgeon saw Amina and saw that she was in a lot of pain, even more than what took us to the ER. Our surgeon told Amina if she had pain that night to check in at his hospital. He had back-to-back surgeries in the morning and squeezed us in.
After the surgery the doctor said the ER should have performed the surgery a month ago, but to go home and celebrate because he was able to gently nudge it from the liver and spleen without affecting those organs.
Thirty days later, signet cell is now blocking her small intestines and her hope has once again gone. Amina, just like any mom, just wants to watch her children grow into beautiful butterflies.
Our last hope is to have immune cell replacement therapy. Our wish is to raise enough money so she will be able to see her kids grow.
Our 14-year-old daughter Zoya is a freshman in high school taking honors classes and participating in Model UN debates in addition to being a cheerleader. Amina’s little joy, her 9-year-old son Zayd, tells her she will be ok because he has two friends in school who beat cancer.
If you only have pennies to donate, those will help too. Thank you so much for all your warm thoughts, prayers and generous donations.
When we go to the hospital, I will bring your donations what ever the amount and everyone that has helped us get this far will be listed and counted. I would think your prayers and donations no mater the amount will help thoses doctors make the right descisions. Medical Insurance will not follow us outside the USA. Your prayers and support will follow us anywhere.
