Amged and his family from Gaza desperately need your help!

This is an urgent appeal from a suffering family from Gaza. Amged and his family need your help. My name is Jeanique from the Netherlands and I am helping Amged to raise money so he can provide in the most basic neccesities to survive, like food and medicine. 'Hello, I am Amged Joda from Palestine, Gaza City, the city of war and destruction. I am 27 years old. I have no form of income at the moment because of the destruction of our homes, neighborhood, our whole society. My family including me exist of 12 people, and I am the oldest child, my family relies on me to provide for them. My mother was recently injured in an airstrike on our tent, and had to receive medical treatment for her injuries. I cannot pay the doctor that treated her. My father is a diabetic and heart patient and is not able to work. He needs medication for his ilness, medication that is not availble, or incredibly expensive. 

Then there is my new baby brother, Ali, who was born recently and has no milk to breastfeed him, or any baby formula available. What did this baby do to deserve this kind start in life? Then there are my other brothers: Amr, Adnan, Muhammad. Amr (18) has been detained by the Israeli army and I don't know what his faith is, I worry about him every day. And not to forget my sisters Lian, Yelin and Lana, who's leg was amputated as a result of the bombing of our house. 

I am in northern Gaza. We were forcibly displaced from our home the Israeli occupation. The bombing of our home with explosives destroyed all my dreams, my future, and my life. My family and I were displaced in difficult and bitter circumstances.

Before the war, I worked as a sound engineer for a DJ sound company. It was my source of income for my family. I excelled at my job and loved it. I shared joys and sorrows with people, participated in children's entertainment, and broadcast news. But the genocidal war came, and the company was destroyed and bombed by the Israeli occupation. My entire dream, my workplace, my equipment, and my audio equipment were destroyed. Nothing remained.

We live amidst destruction and devastation, amidst a war of genocide and a war of famine. We have lost our homeland, our education, our future, and everything. Our lives have lost all their color, and our spirits are exhausted. We escape death every second through miracles unimaginable to the human mind.

I need your support to raise money and help my family from loss and lack of food and drink. I have nothing.

Life here is very difficult. The city is destroyed. There is no food. And the water is scares and unhealthy to drink.

Basic necessities have become scarce, commercial exploitation is increasing, and the massacres committed by the Israeli occupation continue. We are in dire need of financial assistance to rebuild our hopes for survival, for my family and I, and to start over. We want to break free from the cycle of violence and build a better future for my family and my community.

I ask you to help, donate, show solidarity, and see me with compassion in this difficult ordeal. Your contribution will help us rebuild a new life for me and my family and will help us return and give hope to our shattered dreams.

My name is Jeanique and I am 35 years old. I work as a childcarer. I have a great love for children and animals. It breaks my heart to see how this world is so cruel and full of pain. Everyone deserves a life in peace and dignity, with love and joy. Many people live in circumstances that cannot be more opposite to this.

I am trying to help people within my power, and I have made this Gofundme account to start a fundraiser for a Palestinian family in Gaza that are on the brink of starvation. I hope that there will be people that can donate, even if it’s a small amount. Together we are stronger.
