Support for the Green’s : In Memory of Alex
Amelia Green is one of the most selfless, strong and determined people you will meet.
She has worked tirelessly to give her eldest son Alex, who has severe non-verbal autism along with epilepsy, a normal life along with his 2 younger brothers.
In the past few weeks, Amelia's life started to unravel and has put her in a spot many of us can not ever imagine being in.
Her mother Tina, who is Amelia’s best friend and Alex’s biggest advocate, was diagnosed with lung cancer. She is battling to beat it right now. Tina is currently undergoing aggressive Chemo and Radiation treatments.
Devastatingly, on March 7th,
Alex unexpectedly lost his life at 13 years old.
His body succumbed to a seizure in his sleep.
This family needs support now more than ever; both emotionally and financially.
Their lives are forever changed by these events.
All donations will go to cover the funeral and memorial expenses for Alex, as well as remaining home and medical bills that she is now having to pay on her own.
And to give them a much needed trip. They will NEED this. In celebration of Alex’s life; and because these kids so desperately deserve it.
*********
I have known Amelia since the 7th grade.
Amelia has always slayed every obstacle put in front of her;
while remaining the same friend you lean on throughout your own.
Amelia earned her Master’s Degree in Behavioral Sciences with a concentration in Autism. Not only daily life, but her professional career has been dedicated to Alex’s cause.
Amelia is a survivor, battling her whole life herself with Type 1 Diabetes. She will make it through this, but she needs your help.
She, the boys, her close friends and her family are incredibly grateful for any support you can provide.
