I would like you to meet Ambrianna. She is 14 years old and is blessed with Down Syndrome. She is a social butterfly, an honorary middle school cheerleader and the biggest Princess Elsa fan you'll meet. For Christmas she wants to see and meet Princess Elsa. She has brought so much joy to our lives, that nothing would make us happier than to be able to return the joy to her. We are truly blessed to have her in our lives.
Let me give you a little background of our situtation. Ambrianna is technically my husband's step-daughter. He met her mother and became the only daddy she would come to know when Ambrianna was just 6 months old. She has never met her biological father and he has never wanted anything to do with her, which is his loss because the child is a blessing to everyone she meets. Ambrianna has been in my husband's sole care since he and her mother separated 9 years ago, with the exception of one year when her mother took her for about a year, roughly three years ago. Ambrianna is now in mine and my husband's care. Her mom has now gotten to a stable point where she can provide and is ready to care for her kids. She has requested to get Ambrianna, along with her brother who is 11, now that she is able to provide for them. They are both set to go at the end of the school year. My husband and I are devistated, but we also know that it isn't fair to their mom to keep them to ourselves. We have a wonderful blended family and together my husband and I have two girls and two boys. Our other two aren't aware of what's in the future just yet. We are hoping to have this one last vacation as a whole and then tell them.
Before Ambrianna goes back to live with her mom for good, my husband really wants to take Ambrianna, along with the rest of us of course, to Disney World so she can meet her favorite Disney character, Princess Elsa, and give her the most memorable send off possible. He wants one more sort of "Hoorah" vacation before his babies leave our nest. My husband is such a warm hearted, caring and accepting person. He has accepted, and will always accept, Ambrianna as his own, along with my two children as well. He always goes above and beyond to provide for us and to make sure the kids get everything the need and most of what they want. My husband always does what eveyone else wants to do without so much as a complaint. I would love to be able to raise the money so we could do something that he wants for a change. It would be amazing if we were able to take a once in a lifetime vacation as a whole before our family splits and goes separate ways. He never asks for anything what so ever, so I thought I would do this for him. Any help would be so greatly appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
