In honor of Amber Cherie Mobley

Hello,

My name is Michelle Maxwell and I am a lifelong Cordovan. I have known Amber and some of her family for most of my teenage and adult life. Although we weren't close friends, I have always appreciated Amber for her bold, unapologetic, brutally honest personality LOL!! Over the last couple of years, I got to know Amber better and supported her through her struggles in life as she also supported me through my own.

It is with a heavy heart that I share the sudden and tragic passing of Amber Cherie Mobley. She left her earthly body on March 15, 2023. Gone way too soon. Leaving a huge hole in the hearts of her family and many friends.

I created this fundraiser with the hope that our amazing community would rally together to support this family as they are faced with the heavy financial burden, which will likely include medical bills, funeral expenses, and Amber’s final flight out of her hometown of Cordova. We all know how expensive it is to bury or cremate a loved one. Additionally, the costs of flights, hotels, and celebration of life/memorial service add up quickly. A heavy burden for this family.

Amber leaves behind her one and only beloved son Amalgam- who as we all know, she lived and breathed for. Her love for her son was endless, and their bond was one of a kind. Amber is also survived by her brothers Noah & Matthew, Mother Geraldine, Father Russell, Best friend Mikey Small, and so many dear friends.

I know how awesome Cordova is when it comes to supporting families in devastating situations such as this. I have total faith Cordova will come together, remembering Amber Cherie Mobley and helping as best we can to be there for her family.
