As many of you know Amanda is no stranger to Acute Myeloid Leukemia. As a PhD holder in Biomedical Research, Amanda has been researching AML long before she was diagnosed the first time.
When diagnosed in 2014, by miracle, she was able to find a match and undergo a bone marrow transplant. Receiving a second birthday allowed her to marry Matt, the love of her life, build her dream house, and carry on with her favorite hobbies and activities.
We've recently been faced with the heartbreaking news Amanda has relapsed and will be returning to Mass General for round two.
As many of you can imagine, fees associated with hospital stays and treatment can be overbearing and an unnecessary problem to worry about at such a difficult time. Join me & the rest of my family by supporting this amazing woman as we proceed on this long journey ahead.
