A few months ago the Alvarado family suffered the unthinkable when their apartment burned and left them with nothing but the hope that friends would offer them a place to land. Through the kindness of community they had temporary shelter and have worked hard to save enough to find a new apartment. Without more assistance they will be forced to start over in an empty space.
