Hello,
My name is Andrea and I'm Alondra's little sister.
I'm here to share a little bit about Alo and her story.
Alondra is a 25-year-old fighting Stage 4 Cancer.
Like many people in the world, I don't know why bad things happen to anyone, but life has its mysteries. Unfortunately, in this life, my gentle sister has fallen victim to Stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma Cancer, and it has been the most heartbreaking, scary, and traumatic news our family has ever heard.
Alondra has had a history of Melanoma Cancer that we thought she had conquered a couple years ago. Some of you may be familiar with her cancer history, as she shared much of her story on social media. She has been a long time advocate for Melanoma Awareness and has found purpose in helping others in her position along with advocating for skin health.
Unfortunately, we recently discovered that her cancer has reemerged all throughout her body. Her health has rapidly declined this past month and I would never wish this on anyone. It has been a jarring experience and we thank everyone for keeping her in their thoughts & prayers, and being so encouraging and kind.
My family has gone through a lot and we're not the wealthiest, but we still work as hard as we can to support Alo. No matter what, we will not be discouraged to help her fight this battle as long as she can. A life is too important and the thought of letting my sister lose this battle breaks our hearts.
So here is where I come asking for help.
With the help of many doctors and specialists, Alondra has been given a plan to battle her cancer. She will be receiving infusions of immunotherapy based treatments for as many rounds as she needs in hopes of seeing her become a happier and healthier version of herself.
Typically immunotherapy is worth an average of $130,000 annually. These costs, along with hospital visits, will be much more than we can afford. Her insurance will try and cover as much of it as it can, but this potential life saving treatment is worth a lot more than the insurance can cover.
My sister is like any other sibling. They're always teasing you, making you laugh, and the most important part- they are your built in other half. I have been a part of her life for 24 years, but she has been a part of my life forever and I wish to keep it that way. I will fight forever for her to be my older sister.
Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to read this. It means the world to us, and we are grateful for any donation whatsoever. If you are not able to spare anything, a share will go a long way.
Through it all Alondra is hoping that her story can continue to spread awareness for Melanoma and inspire others to take care of themselves.
Te Amo Alo. Siempre seremeos la princesa y bichito. You can do this. One day at a time!
"God is within her, she will not fail. - Psalm 46:5
God is my Savior, and I place all my faith and trust in Him. With Him by my side—and with all of your prayers lifting me up—I find the strength to keep moving forward and facing this battle.
There’s peace in my heart knowing I’m never alone in this journey. Your love and prayers mean more to me than words can ever say. "

September 29, 2025 Alondra has begun her road to treatment. She received her first infusion of immunotherapy.
