Aloha entered second grade not yet knowing how to read. By the end of third grade he was one of the highest readers in the school. He had a natural brilliance and giftedness he shared with everyone around him. He went out of his way to help students who were struggling. Even as a child he had a innate way of creating community. He consistently shared this gift throughout his life. As a father, Aloha wanted his son, Nova, to have a good education and a strong foundation for his future.
When Nova prepares to pursue his own dreams, your gift will be the wind in his sails. Nova will carry with him Aloha’s beautiful spirit, the significant loss of his father at such a young age, and the warm embrace of a community, who in their grief, believed in him and rallied together to make a tangible contribution to the life his dad imagined for him. In this way, Aloha will live on through us and be able to give this lasting gift to his precious little boy.
Aloha touched so many lives. Your gift will enable Nova to do the same. Contributing is easy and only takes a few moments. All donations are welcome—large and small.
