My family is asking for support during an incredibly difficult time. My sister, Aliyah, was involved in a terrible accident while traveling home to Florida from Virginia. The crash happened in Georgia and left her with severe, life‑altering injuries. She has been experiencing ongoing seizures, a traumatic brain injury, a broken ankle, fractured ribs, a fractured sternum, and extensive swelling and bruising. Her recovery will be long, painful, and unpredictable, and being far from family has made everything even harder as she navigates this journey largely without the close support she needs.
