Alisia's 40th Birthday Matress Drive For Kids

For my big 40th Birthday I want to give back in a BIG way and I'm calling on my network to help. Im looking for 40 people to donate $40 for my 40th birthday to provide mattresses for a non-profit I am involved with and care deeply for - Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP).

SHP builds beds from raw materials and then delivers and assembles them for kids all the way up to 18 who are often sleeping on a couch, a blow up mattress or even the floor. My chapter has over 50 beds made from a recent build, but we need mattresses before we can deliver them to some very lucky kids.

We have a local mattress company that has generously offered to let us purchase mattresses at cost for $68. For every $40 donation I receive for my birthday fundraiser, I will donate the other $28 to purchase as many mattresses as we can.
