Hi im known as Trishy Dishy who runs a well known event called Hot Kandi in Sydney. Alicia Jane passed away on the weekend aged just 28. Im organising funds on behalf of her family to support them in a time of need.
Alicia loved my events and also my Float for Mardi Gras. I feel its my duty to help raise funds to give her the send off she deserves and to help raise awareness for people that suffer depression.
I am raising money for Alicia Janes Funeral costs and to support an organisation called BEYOND BLUE where they work to reduce the impact of depression and anxiety in the community by raising awareness and understanding, empowering people to seek help, and supporting recovery, management and resilience. We would also like to give Alicia a big send off that she deserves. We want to celebrate her life and remember the goodtimes we had with her.
If you have ever suffered depression you will know how hard it is to fight without getting professional help. The people at Beyond Blue are trained to help you fight this mental health problem and get you back on track enjoying life.
Alicia was loved by many people, she had a heart of gold. If you were a friend of Alicia's you will know just how beautiful she was inside and out. Alicia would give the shirt off her back and help you when in need. Alicia helped alot of people in their darkest times. Absolutely devasted to hear that she lost her will to live on the weekend. She will be missed by many and the world wont be as bright without her here!
It would mean so much to her family and to all those that loved her if you could donate big or small every cent counts. We need the funds asap in order to give her a proper funeral that she deserves. Any leftover funds will be given to Beyond Blue to support those with depression.
