Alfred Lyons' Funeral Expenses

Alfred Lyons was murdered on March 29th, 2015.  He was shot in the back following a block party in his neighborhood.  He was only 19 years old.  Murderer and motive have not yet been discovered. 

Alfred graduated from Lake Area New Tech High School in 2014.  He played rugby for the Leopards and played in the band. 

I was briefly his rugby coach and knew Alfred to be a smooth young man with a great smile.  He was not the best athlete, nor the fastest, nor the strongest, but he wore the jersey with pride and busted his butt at every opportunity that he was given on the pitch regardless of which number was on his back.  If for nothing more than that, I am proud to have known him.  He was a great guy with lots of friends.  He is gone too soon.

I'm reaching out to the community to help his family with the unexpected funeral expenses of our teammate.
