Dear Friends and Family of Alfonso Castaneira,
Life sometimes brings you to your knees. That’s where Alfonso finds himself now, on his knees praying for guidance and for a miracle. It is here in this place of humility that he is taking the very difficult step of asking for help... Asking for help has never been easy for Alfonso since he, like so many of you, is the one always helping others.
Over the last 7 weeks he has suffered 2 heart attacks with severe arrhythmia which almost ended his life. Somehow, and with God’s help, he is still here, alive and continuing life’s journey to fulfill his mission of being of help to others.
After attempting to heal his failing heart through natural means without surgery, he now realizes that his condition needs urgent Open Heart surgery of great complexity... 3 procedures will be performed 1st a triple bypass of the 3 main heart arteries, 2nd a procedure called Maze to correct the massive arrhythmia and 3rd a fixing of a heart valve. He has made the decision to follow the advice of 5 different doctors who are recommending the lifesaving operation, but financially he can’t afford the procedure and the financial stress that the recovery creates. It is for this reason that we have created this funding page to ask for financial help and to ask for your prayers for a complete and speedy recovery.
