Let´s make their dreams come true TO STUDY!

Hi Friends,

My name is Alexandra from Berlin, but I am currently living in Medellin, Colombia. I'm passionate about supporting the foundation NIÑOS DEL FUTURO (Kids of the Future), a project initiated by my Dutch/Colombian friend Yino, who has been in Medellin for the past 5 years. The foundation is driven by the sincere goal of empowering children in the underprivileged neighborhood of MANRIQUE, offering them skills that will shape their futures. Yino and the foundation focus on creating a nurturing environment for these kids, a place that not only provides safety but also feels like home.

The children in MANRIQUE face daily challenges arising from their disadvantaged backgrounds, navigating through social and economic hardships. Due to their young age and limited resources, breaking out of the poverty cycle seems nearly impossible for them. NIÑOS DEL FUTURO intervenes by implementing various projects, such as cooking and barber workshops, providing these children with the opportunity to cultivate vocational skills that can kickstart their journey into lasting careers.

Yino, the founder of the organization, goes beyond merely providing a safe haven. He understands the significance of instilling a belief in these kids and pushing them to overcome the hurdles imposed by their circumstances.

Now, I am reaching out for your support on two impactful initiatives that can change lives.

First, we aim to send Eudelys, Eucaris, and Caren, three young girls who walked here with their mother from Venezuela, to elementary school. They lack the means for education, and your contribution can make all the difference in their lives.

Additionally, we want to give Alejandra and Ximena, two eager 15-year-old girls the opportunity to complete vocational training in a cosmetology school. Attending classes every Saturday will equip them with skills and a certificate, paving the way for future employment and the chance to build independent careers to support themselves and their families. Alejandra and Ximena have worked hard and consistently and deserve this opportunity.
