Alexis will walk!

My name is Alexis, I'm 2 years old and don't crawl or walk yet. I have done many tests including 2 EEGs, 1 MRI, and countless genetic blood work. All of my tests keep coming back normal. I have doctor appointments ranging 10-45 miles away from my house. I go to physical therapy 5 times a week, occupational therapy 3 times a week, and speech therapy 2 times per week. I have leg braces to help support my ankles and right now my mommy and daddy are waiting to get me a special walker in hopes I can walk on my own some day, but it is very expensive and our insurance doesn't pay for durable medical equipment. Thus far we have paid over $6000 out of pocket for appointments, therapy, testing, and special equipment for me. I am always happy and smiling, but I have a delay that no one can explain. We're hoping I grow out of this, but no one can tell us when, or how it will happen. My mommy had to cut back her hours at work from her full time position to one 8 hour shift per week to take me to all of my appointments and work out with me at home to maximize my chances at getting better. My older brother and sister enjoy playing with me, but want me to start chasing them around the house. I would love if you could help support me and share my story so we can get me my special walker.
