Alexa Gonzalez is a 14-year-old 9th grader at Northglenn High School. She lives with her younger brother and her two loving parents, who don't speak a lot of English. She has been dancing with the Colorado Conservatory of Dance for 11 years. Dancing brings Alexa a lot of joy, and she loves to express herself through the movement. This summer, she is hoping to attend Atlanta Ballet's Summer Intensive. She aspires to be the first one in her family to go to college and to become a professional dancer.

Unfortunately, Alexa's dream to go to Atlanta this summer is in jeopardy. It has two parts, being accepted and making the payments for the program. Sadly, her family is having a difficult time finding the funds to send her to Atlanta.
Step one of Alexa's dream has already come true. She was accepted to the summer program in Atlanta earlier this year.
Now please help us help her reach the next level of her dream. She needs $2,500 to attend Atlanta Ballet's Summer program, which will help her grow in her love of dance and rocket her towards the ultimate goal; going to college.
