On the road to Tulsa

Donation protected

I'm moving to be part of the team of Transformation Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma!! And I need your help!

After a long season of waiting, and trusting God was doing something big in my life amid the chaos. I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel.

- Check out the Instagram post back in April when I got Laid off due to COVID - Speaking truth over my situation.
This has been a challenging season for me and many. For me losing my full-time job to be on a part-time job, in the meanwhile hoping that the Lord will provide every single thing I needed. And He did! To be honest, it has been one of the most challenging months of my whole life! It grew me, it challenged me, it knocked me down and I got up again, and again, it scared me, A LOT... but it also was one of the sweetest, restful, and fun, purposeful months in my life! I am soooo thankful that 2020 happened the way it did. I wouldn't change a thing! God showed me that I can depend on him, that He is faithful, and He takes deep care of me no matter the circumstances, the fear, or disappointment that I am experiencing. He showed me He is my provider and He is my peace in the middle of the chaos.

Through this season, Pastor Mike Todd and Transformation Church have kept me on track (If you don't know about them, you are missing out! - Go check them out on YouTube, Click Here ) Transformation Church has encouraged me, challenged me, taught me, helped me, and kept me focused and rooted in my faith. And I couldn't be more thankful, amazed, and encouraged by the things the Lord was preparing for me when I couldn't see what he was doing. He called me to be strong and courageous and not to fear because He is in control.

I am so excited to share with you this incredible opportunity that was given to me!

I have recently accepted an Internship at Transformation Church in their 2021 "Formation Internship Program" This means I will move to Tulsa, Oklahoma in January 2021 to join the team and serve within the Visual Arts Department. A whole new adventure! I am so excited to grow and develop my professional skills, as well as strengthen my leadership abilities alongside some of the best pastors and leaders in ministry!

With all this being said. I need your help, your support, and your encouragement on this new adventure! These are some ways you can help me:

-Prayer:
The first and most important way that you can support me: prayer. Everything should start and end with prayer. As I embark on a new season, a new city, and a new state... new EVERYTHING! Your girl needs all the prayers she can get! pray that God provides and readies my heart to grow and receive all that He has for me during this internship. - Everything!

-Financial Support:
The second way you can support me is through financial sponsorship. The cost of tuition for the internship is $1,000. This amount needs to be full-paid by January 25th (Tuition covers supplies, curriculum, conferences, housing, and much more!) The internship is non-paid, and it will be held from January to July 2021 (7 months). I will need finances to help sustain me during my time in the program (food, gas, all the survival things, etc.) I'm believing in crazy faith to collect $5,200 to cover these expenses for the next six months. - I know, believe me, it sounds crazy...until it happens!

 -Share:
Sharing is caring. Please share this link with the people around you, friends, family, parents, co-workers, friend- enemies (haha) that might know me (or might not). Spread the word - I want to bring as many people into this new adventure with me!

- Recommendations and reaching out
If you know some nice spots, local places, coffee shops, etc. Please let me know! - It's a new city, and I want to explore and soak in as much of this new place. If you know people in Tulsa (or Oklahoma), could you please put me in contact with them? I can not do this alone, and I need all the help I can get.
Another way is just to send me a text checking on me. I'm going to miss my Texas and Colombian people.

I am so thankful for 2020.
2020 brought so much vision and hope for the future. I have a new perspective, and I have one mission in mind: Make people feel welcome, loved, and seen wherever I go while using my creativity, and the personality that the Lord has given me to accomplish this mission. I believe this internship is just one step in the right direction towards this mission.
Want to talk and learn more about this journey? Please, don't be shy - call me, text me, reach out! I'd love to share with you all the goodness and all the pain of 2020!

If God leads you to give in any capacity, it will be much appreciated! I believe that any and every amount makes a difference towards supporting me, and it will help me to be a part of the place I believe God is calling me to experience!

Thank you for your love and support during this journey. Thank you for believing in me and the gifts the Lord has given me.
The best is YET to come to ❤️
God bless you!

Much love and appreciation for you,
Alejandra Mendez!
