Ahead of Beauty Wigs For Cancer & Alopecia

Hi everyone! My name is Asia-McClain Chapman.

Many of you know me because of my involvement in the documentary The Case Against Adnan Syed, the Serial Podcast and my efforts to support a new trial for Adnan Syed.

For many years my husband and I have been working in the corporate arena, providing various medical devices to many Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana hospitals. Now I've created the nonprofit Organization Ahead of Beauty to help those suffering from cancer and alopecia.

Ahead of Beauty is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing 100% human hair lace front wigs to those undergoing chemotherapy and alopecia.

Our goal is to empower patients battling cancer, and alopecia feel more confident and beautiful, should they chose not to wear their heads bald or use head wraps.

We understand that experiencing cancer and alopecia can be a traumatic experience for many people, as a person's hair can be deeply tied to their sense of self and confidence. Their "crown," as it were. With that in mind, we want to provide wig options for those who otherwise cannot afford the cost of a high-quality, natural-looking, human hair wig. As you can clearly see by browsing GoFundMe, there are many in need of this type of assistance. Ahead of Beauty wants to help as many as possible, but we need your help!

Ahead of Beauty covers all the costs associated with manufacturing and distributing wigs to qualifying patients. We rely solely on the support of generous donors, salons and stylists. Donations of any size are highly appreciated.
