I’m seeking assistance from my community as I am overwhelmed and drowning in debt. I was impacted due to a car accident in January 2025, which was not covered by insurance, this left me with a totaled car. In June 2025, I was sued for the accident, I was informed I would need to pay for my car and for the impacted vehicle. Shortly after due to medical needs, I went on a leave of absence per my doctor’s direction at reduced pay and later I lost my job. I started a new job making significantly less per hour, at this time my furnace stopped working, leading to high electric bills and repair costs. This all put me so behind I ended up having to borrow funds from my mother to pay rent, creating a cycle of borrowing and repayment. I am now behind on rent and bills, and need to move to a more affordable apartment. My wages are now being garnished, making it even harder to keep up. I want to avoid eviction and care for my mother by ensuring she has her funds but I am unable to care for her or myself at this point, I have no resources, minimal close friends and work very difficult hours at my new job, I also work a part-time second job but they have limited hours. I have major health issues having lupus, fibromyalgia, psoriatic and rheumatoid arthritis, and chronic migraines and fatigue. This support will allow me to stop borrowing from my mother, avoid eviction, and have a fresh start. Get caught up. My ask is that you pray for my ease, for my family, and pray that my provision be increased. Pray that my new job be safe and sustainable. Beyond your prayers, if there is any help you can assist with, my gratitude would be immense. I am a hard worker and would give the shirt off my back to anyone in need, but at this time it is me who is in need. I have done all I can to avoid asking but I cannot do this alone.
