Hello Friends, Family and Colleagues!
Thank you for taking time out of your day and checking out this great cause. As you may know (or are about to find out) I'm about to start my seventh quarter as a chiropractic student! It has been an unbelievable journey so far and I'm more pumped than ever about my move to such a life affirming career! I truly feel that I've found my calling and I am doing everything possible to create opportunities and to make the most of them.
On December 27th, I am embarking on a service trip to Jamaica to serve people who don't have access to this type of health care. Together, with about 100 dedicated doctors and students from around the nation, we will spend 5 days giving our all to the beautiful people of Jamaica.

Some of my mentors such as Dr. Brett Jones and Dr. Lance von Stade (who I will be joining on this trip) have set an extremely high standard for the care and service provided on such trips. I'm excited to put in the work to be able to deliver nothing but the highest quality care on this trip. The desire to provide this type of care sparked a movement in chiropractic and it's taking the nation by storm, Adjusting Ninjas. I'm proud to say that I am an Adjusting Ninja and have trained very hard an hour and a half before school, multiple days a week, with this group since my first week of school. I've since become a facilitator of this group on campus and have even been asked to help facilitate training camps around the Bay Area as well as Atlanta, Georgia.
Why Chiropractic? Chiropractic is a philosophy, science and art that aims to detect and eliminate any and all vertebral subluxations. Subluxations are interferences within the nervous system. Science proves that the nervous system is in charge of everything! It controls your muscles, your breathing, all of your organs and glands and even your heart beat! Our philosophy states that your body is a self healing, self organizing machine. When the communication between your brain and body (which happens via nerves) is free and clear your body will be able to do it's job optimally. Our art comes through as a Chiropractic adjustment, which restores this vital connection. The adjustment is a skill and craft that takes a lifetime to master but when done at a moment of pure connection and ease, can have a profound impact. With your help, together we can bring this type of vitalistic care to the people of Jamaica.
I need YOUR help! In order to be able to serve the people of Jamaica I will need money. My goal is to raise 2500 dollars. This will help cover the air fare, food, lodging, ground transportation, snacks and proper hydration which is ultra important when taking into consideration the amount of people we are trying to serve.
