Hi my name is Adi. I’m 20 years and am an ambulatory wheelchair user. I have undifferentiated connective tissue disease, polyarthralgia and fibromyalgia. My current wheelchair is too big and too heavy, which makes it hard for me to self propel, so I am fundraising in hopes of buying a more appropriate wheelchair. A custom fitted, lightweight wheelchair would allow me to get around more easily with less pain which would help me get some of my independence and autonomy back as well as allow me to return in-person classes at school. In short, this new chair would help me begin to get my life back. If you could help me get this much needed wheelchair, it would mean the world to me and my family! Any money raised beyond the goal will be used purchase ramps, a bathtub rail and other things to make my house more accessible.
