I wanted to share an important update. After years of living in daily pain, I finally had laparoscopy surgery to get answers. The results showed adenomyosis (my uterus had enlarged to the size of a 10-week pregnancy) and pelvic congestion syndrome. These chronic conditions explained the pain I’ve been living with for years, but they also mean my healing journey isn’t over.

Because I don’t have health insurance, I had to pay for this surgery out-of-pocket. On top of that, I’ve been unable to work because of my health, which makes it almost impossible to keep up with medical bills and basic living expenses during recovery.
