Firstly, thank you for your care and concern for Adam's family.

I've known Adam for about 25 years now. It's been a hard road, no doubt. There have been a lot of ups and downs. Nevertheless, throughout these long hard years, whenever I spoke with Adam in his moments of clarity and from the first day I met him in our teens, one subject was always at the forefront of his mind....and that was his family. He thought the world of his mother (rightly so), loved his sister dearly (as she did him) and thought his daughter was the coolest kid (which she absolutely is).

Adam was appreciative and understanding of the sacrifices his mother had made to support him and his daughter. He wasn't able to see himself through it and support his family in the way they have supported him over the years, but perhaps we can help.

Our aim is to raise funds for his funeral expenses, to help pay off debts his family has been saddled with and ultimately to set up an UGMA account for Brooklyn (Adam would really love this last part as he was all about investments the last time we really got to talk).

Having said that, trust that I understand we're all strapped for cash, but this is a moment where every little bit truly counts. If you can donate $5 or $500...If you can donate once this week and again when your next paycheck lands...If you can't donate, you can share.

Ultimately, my hope is that we can ease the burden on this grieving family and help Brooklyn's future be a little bit brighter.
