Support AB's Fight Against Rare Cancer

Donation protected

Love can heal. Yet you need support sometimes, and that is what this is for. AB, is married to my cousin, Heather. They have traveled through so much together in this life, yet this is the toughest journey yet. AB was diagnosed with a rare sinus cancer, Stage 3 Advanced Ethmoid Cancer last May and had surgery at UC Davis. He was receivingchemo and radiation in which concluded in February, 2025. After a few weeks in March, AB had a dizzy spell. Still on gaurd, he went to Er.

At the Emergency Room they did imaging, only to find that the tumor had doubled in size, and now close crossing the dura mater.

The most recent imaging has shown to be pushing on ABs eye and even more serious than first thought.

This is devastating. The cancer has genetic markers of colon cancer and HPV which is what makes this so aggressive and rare.

Davis gave AB and My cousin some grim news, they cannot treat him further.

Their last hope, hoping UCSF or Stanford would take his cas, to provide some sort of hope.

We are all so grateful that Stanford has decided to take on ABs case!!!

Ab and Heather were greeted by some amazing bedside manner, care and compassion that a doctor could have.

ABs care team has formulated an aggressive plan of treatment.

On June 6th, AB will undergo sinus and brain surgery to remove as much of the tumor and affected tissue as possible.

Two teams will be working through his nose and skull, in order to allow the best quality of life, and to prolong his life, by years, because the grim prognosis he had been given in Truckee was months.

They won't know the full extent of the treatment and recovery until the Medical team goes to work. As of now, They are required to stay until post-op, June 18th, as AB may need a length of time at a rehab facility after hospital discharge.

This leaves a huge financial setback as both AB and Heather will have to take time from work.

For Heather to be able to support her husband, she will be trying to rent a place for the length of AB's stay at the hospital and possible rehab facility.

Your donations will be going towards Heather's stay in Palo Alto, or near Stanford hospital, medical needs/bills, food, as well as any help that can go towards their life expenses. They have a son to support, yet Heather needs to take some time off work to support her family and herself as she has MS.

Here is a message from my cousin, Heather:

"

This has been such a huge life altering heartbreaking period in our lives and having multiple sclerosis prevents me from doing a lot. AB has been my best friend, my person for the last two decades and I can't imagine our lives without him. He has a 13 year old son that still walks around holding his hand (sometimes) and all four of our older children highly depend on his support and guidance. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for all donations, prayers, light and love."

I know times are rough, yet when forces combine, the support of others can be a sanctuary.
