Fundraising for Aaron's Hot Tub

Donation protected
My little brother Aaron has a rare genetic condition called Allan-Herndon-Dudley Syndrome (AHDS). It is thought that there are only 25 families worldwide who are affected by this condition. It is a rare disorder of brain development that causes moderate to severe intellectual disability and problems with movement. Most children with Allan-Herndon-Dudley syndrome have weak muscle tone and underdevelopment of many muscles. As they get older, they usually develop joint deformities, which restrict the movement of certain joints. Abnormal muscle stiffness, muscle weakness, and involuntary movements of the arms and legs also limit mobility. As a result, many people with the syndrome are unable to walk independently and become wheelchair-bound by adulthood, much like my brother.

Throughout his years at school he has received physiotherapy, to help with these muscle problems, which includes sessions of swimming and hot tub/jacuzzi time, both of which he loves.

After a recent trip to Yorkshire, where we had the privilege of having a hot tub, we decided that we wanted to get one for home, so Aaron can experience its benefits more often. As you can see in the picture, he absolutely loved it.

I am participating in a tandem skydive on May 23rd 2015, and am using this to hopefully raise some money towards buying Aaron his own hot tub. The hot tub we are looking into costs at least £5000, and why, by no means, am I hoping to raise that alone, every little helps towards our goal!

We'd all be eternally grateful for any spare pennies you can afford to donate... It's for a good cause!

Thank you!
