Hi fam / friends / community! Zachariah & AXL here and we're reaching out for support during an urgent situation, one of the most challenging times of my life. After a series of major life tragedies the last few months I’ve fallen behind on my rent and am now facing the very real threat of eviction. I can't speak publicly yet about all the details and things that transpired leading AXL and I into this situation, however I can share this to provide context:
- I was defrauded / robbed bad with my business a few months ago (yep 2nd time) on top of having fraudulent insurance claims from imposter companies stealing my company name :(… This was devastating to say the least. I was wiped out of any buffer or cushion I had
- I had 3 injuries last year (rib fractures & tendon sprain) that have kept me in excruciating pain for about 8 months now, hindering me from most of my normal work.
- Have been living in a home with water damage incidents & mold for 4 years which has been increasingly affecting my health.
- I lost my best friend in the world unexpectedly in Feb and it has absolutely wrecked me. It's been 2 months to this day, and although the pain I feel is still so heavy, after getting therapy and support from my friends, i'm starting to see some hope and light at the end of the tunnel
I have been holding off far too long to reach out for help, and now my situation is so dire, I must look out for my puppy and also my well-being. The stress of possibly losing our home has been overwhelming, and I’m doing everything I can to find a way through this difficult period.
On top of my housing situation, my beloved puppy AXL is also in urgent need of medical care. We had his first emergency visit 2 weeks ago and my vet and the ER both hinted it could be a tumor / cancer / or some sort of issue that requires proper screening, and the sooner it's addressed the higher chance he has to live longer. He requires both an X-Ray ($500) and an MRI ($1500 min). As a dog dad, it’s heartbreaking to see him in pain and let this go unattended.
