National League Girls' U14 Travel Team Fundraiser
Dear Family, Friends, and Fellow Soccer Lovers.
With all of the other fundraising campaigns out there, we appreciate you taking the time to consider ours. This page is dedicated to helping an amazingly talented and hard working group of girls to supplement their national level soccer tream travel and other expenses for the 2015-2016 season.
About the girls:
This "freshman class" in the Atlanta Fire United Elite Clubs National League program features 13 and 14 year old girls with exceptional soccer accomplishments including Georgia Soccer ODP (Olympic Development Program) state, regional, and National Pool selection; Super Y League ODP National Pool and National team selection; and multiple US Soccer Training Center invitations where some have had the opportunity to be trained and evaluated by U.S. National Team coaches. Many of the girls have aspirations of playing on US Youth and Adult National Teams and are working toward selection for Division I and other college playing opportunities. In addition to their soccer honors, these girls excel off the field as youth leaders and mentors, academic honor recipients, and serve as members of National Junior Beta Club and other organizations. They have worked hard to achieve such a high level of success in soccer and in their other pursuits and we are very proud of their individual and team accomplishments.
Our Goal:
This season, the girls will travel to places like Arizona, Texas, Florida, Alabama, and the Carolinas for college showcases, regular season games, and other events, with the goal of traveling to California for the National Championship tournament in the Spring.
As active participants in the fundraising process, the girls will be selling their wares (homemade jewelry, baked goods, and other items) during an upcoming event. However, with their soccer season kicking into high gear, they greatly appreciate the additional opportunity to raise funds online.
All proceeds will go toward the girls' ECNL related travel expenses. Regular updates will be posted regarding their games and other activites and any additional honors they receive throughout the season.
