Dear ATAM Family and Friends,

On January 8, our world was shattered by the cruel Palisades Fire, which took our Palisades community. This included our life’s work, one of the happiest places on earth, many people’s home away from home, ATAM Palisades.

Our family, Anthony (teacher) and Mary (ATAM co-founders), Leia (15), and Ben (13) (ATAM Chief Fun Officers) lost our beloved small business ATAM Palisades. We lost EVERYTHING from our 13 years of ATAM - even our sweet community pets.

It was a dream for our family to create a place for kids, teens, and adults to learn, have fun, be nurtured, and become a part of our big ATAM Family! We all bonded over Technology, Engineering, Design, Building, Science, Robotics, Making, Art and Music. For 13 years, the 4 sacrificed and worked 7 days a week to make this dream real. This was a lifetime of care and work poured into our sweet community. ATAM Palisades was our superhero headquarters. In less than 24 hours, our dream turned into a nightmare leaving us with moments frozen in time.

Memories were made, and forever family was built. ATAM was the place where everybody knew your name, and you found your people of all ages.
