ARBAEEN FUNDRAISER

Salamun Aalikum wa rehmatullahi wa Barakatu,

 

As part of the IMAC Fundraiser Campaign for Arbaeen this year, we will raise funds for 5 purposes.

 

1. An Orphan Sister in Pakistan who need funds to get married after Arbaeen

2. The rebuilding and furnishing of a house for the family of a martyr in Karbala

3. 2 Majalis in commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam Sajjad (as)

4. InshaAllah, we intend to hold 4 youth sessions for teenagers and young people to discuss contemporary issues, answer questions and provide a safe space for our youth to feel like they belong and develop a positive Muslim identity while living in the West.

5. Contribute towards the Imam Mahdi (ajtf) Awareness Campaign to spread the message of Imam Mahdi (ajtf) and help those who may require emergency funds

1. Marriage of Orphan sister in Pakistan

Total Required: £2000

 

We were informed of the sad circumstances of an orphan sister in Lahore, Pakistan. Her mother requires funds for her marriage after Arbaeen. They do not have much in their current homes, do not have the means to marry, and do not have basic necessities to start and live a comfortable life in the marital home. We inshaAllah aim to raise funds to help with wedding expenses, essential furniture, and basic clothes and shoes.

 

2. Rebuilding and furnishing a home for the family of a martyr in Karbala

Total Required: £4000

 

There is no better time to contribute in the name of Imam Hussain (as) to help the family of a shaheed in Karbala, the land of Martyrs. Below are pictures of the house to be rebuilt and furnished. It is on the verge of collapsing and needs urgent attention.

 

3. 2 Annual Majalis in commemoration of the Martyrdom of Imam Sajjad (as) and Museebah of Lady Zainab (sa)

Total Required: £1500

All our events are presented as a gift to Imam Zaman (ajtf) on behalf of those who contribute towards it insha'Allah. Special duas will be recited on behalf of all contributors in the mosque of Jamkaran on a Tuesday night inshaAllah. Details TBC.

4. 5 Youth sessions for teenagers and young people to discuss contemporary issues, answer questions and provide a safe space for our youth to feel like they belong and develop a positive Muslim identity whilst living in the West. We also aim to hold a children's majlis inshaAllah.

Total Required: £1500

5. You have continuously helped us to reach 100s of people in their time of need. Help us continue this work and provide people with urgent relief regarding financial aid and food support. Your contributions will also go towards the Imam Mahdi's Awareness Campaign (ajtf) to help us increase his remembrance, spread His knowledge and understand our responsibilities during the occultation and beyond.
