Life is about risk-taking. Love is about sacrifice. I'm excited to announce that I am blessed with the opportunity to be a part of a beautiful experience. This summer from July 1- July 31 ( YES THE WHOLE MONTH OF JULY) I will be a part of a 17 person team going to Manila, Philippines in coordination with InterVarsity and The Underground Network. This is not a Habitat For Humanity trip on steroids. This is a missions trip learning how to serve and be served in the Filipino context over 9000 (Hello Dragon Ball Z fans) miles from home. I will be living among the poor in Manila.


Why All-Or-Nothing?
I want to exercise some risk here. And where is the excitement in no risk at all? I sincerely need your assistance in funding and in prayer. Although it may seem like I am being courageous in deciding to fundraise this way I want you to know that I am still nervous like anyone. And I want to challenge myself with you guys.



What does the money go towards?
I am raising funds to pay for airfare( and you thought filling your car up with gas was expensive!) and some of the living expenses while in Manila.
-This money will pay for airfare to and from Manila.
-Meals while in the Philippines for myself and the family I stay with for my time there.


The total cost of the trip will be much greater than the $2180 I'm seeking to raise. I'm trusting God will provide this amount and more. Also I will be holding other events leading up to departure, this is one of many outlets I am using to reach people who will be interested in supporting me and my team in this mission. I will be selling many of my possessions, creating and selling tshirts, and more.
