A Miracle for Adam

Donation protected
On Tuesday, September 2, 2014, Adam Doiron was the passenger in an 18-wheeler on its way to Orlando from San Antonio, TX. The truck was involved in a terrible accident and the cab burst into flames. Adam was able to get himself out of the truck, but not before being severely injured with third-degree burns covering 90% of his body. He was airlifted to the UTMB Blocker Burn Unit in Galveston, TX, where he is currently fighting for his life. The doctors have given him a less than 10% chance of survival, and he needs a miracle to make it through.

Our family is devastated and we are spending as much time as we are allowed in his room talking to him, hoping that he hears us and that it encourages him to keep fighting.

Adam has undergone two surgeries so far to remove the burned skin, and has another scheduled for tomorrow (Monday, 9/8). We have no idea at this point what to expect in terms of his recovery, but we do know that the road will be long and very challenging for Adam. It will also be very expensive, and we have no idea what the costs will amount to in the end. We are asking for help for continuing care for Adam and getting him through this amazingly tough time. Any little bit will be a huge help, and is greatly appreciated.

We will post updates on this page, but we also have a Facebook page set up called A Miracle for Adam, which we are using to collect prayers, well wishes, and messages for Adam. We read them to him now, and can't wait to be able to show him the page and let him feel all of the love and support that has been flowing in non-stop.
