Who is Amar Naidu
Amar Pujari is one of the priest doing his service at Sri Siva Subramanya Swamy Temple in Nadi, Fiji Islands from 2009. He is 28 years old and married with an 18 months old Baby girl.
Diagnosis
Amar had kidney problem and was first noticed back in 2016. But in June 2018, he was diagnosed with stage 5 Chronic Kidney Disease due to Hypertension and doctors have advised for transplant straight away. At this advanced stage of kidney disease, the kidneys have lost nearly all their ability to do their job effectively, and eventually dialysis or a kidney transplant is needed to live.
Good thing is that Amar's wife kidney can be transplanted and all arrangements have been made for the Kidney Transplant Operation in India.
Funds Required
It will cost approximately AUD$25000 for the Kidney transplant Operation. This includes 3 people travel from Fiji to India (Delhi), Cost of operation and accommodation expenses.
Fiji Government will sponsor one Air Ticket to India. Funds are required for the travel of his wife and a care taker and most importantly for the Transplant Operation which will be around $12000 AUD.
So far only $5000 AUD has been collected. But TISI Sangam (Employer) and other friends have promised to chip in some money as well.
TIME
Time is running out for Amar. Doctors have advised that Transplant needs to be done ASAP and Amar needs to travel to India by end of February 2019.
Why I am collecting Money
I personally know Amar for the past 10 years and I felt it’s my duty to help him in any way possible. As many of you know, I used to live in Fiji and moved to Australia Back in 2009. Me and my wife are contributing for this cause and appreciate my family and friends to help me to collect more money so that Amar can go through his life changing transplant operation.
