In July 2015 my twin, Adam, went to the doctor 3 times thinking he had Tonsillitis. His lymph nodes were swollen, and with receiving steroids the swelling would subside. After the 3rd visit to reduce the swelling, the doctors directed him to the E.R. for further testing. We all thought that he was going to need to have his tonsils removed. After blood work was drawn and an MRI done they stated that they saw a mass in his lymph nodes. When the blood work came back the next day we were all shocked to find that he had luekimea. For someone of his age, 30, it is very uncommon; this type of cancer usually is found in young children or elderly people. Needless to say, he has been going through chemotherapy since the beginning of August. Since the moment we found out he has been unable to go to work. He has been surviving off of his savings, but has no income coming in for him to continue to pay his bills. Now, in November, he will have to get a bone marrow transplant, which his donor will be our little brother. With having the bone marrow transplant he will be unable to work for 6 months to a year. I am asking you for your help, and support for my twin! Please donate so he can continue to fight this cancer without having to worry about how he will be paying his bills. We appreciate any way you can help. We want him to just focus on having the strength to fight this and not worry about his future finacially. Thank you
