Hi, My Name, is Avi Singh. I am currently renting on the sunshine coast in QLD Australia. In April 2023, I was hospitalised due to a severe heart attack. While recovering from the surgery, the doctors discovered that my kidney function was deteriorating. By mid-June, I had lost all function of both my kidneys. I was put on a dialysis program of 3 hours of dialysis per day, 3 times a week. As months passed, my dependence on the dialysis had gone up to 6 hours per day, 3 times a week. Currently, I have been on this 6-hour program for the past 12 months which is very exhausting. It takes most of the following day to recover. On the non-dialysis days, I have regular appointments with specialists and nurses.
The specialist has put me on the waiting list for transplant. The wait time is 3 to 5 years. As this has restricted my life including forcing me to stop work, I began researching for ways to be less reliant on the dialysis and get back to work. While researching I came across the organisation JEENA SIKHO Lifecare. They are a well-established group in India who specialise in alternative medicine. They are a renowned Indian Ayurvedic healthcare company, recognized as the best Indian Ayurvedic company and the most trusted Ayurvedic brand in India, founded by Mr. Manish Grover (popularly known as Acharya Manish Ji). Their belief is in a long-term comprehensive, efficacious management of a range of ailments such as Kidney Failure. Currently they operate 36 hospitals and 74 clinics/daycare across India. If you would like more details on the group and their hospitals, please go to this website https://hiims.in/.
Upon several consultations, they have advised me that the treatment would take 20 to 30 days, and I will have to stay in their hospital for the entire period. The hospitals are called HIIMS. The HIIMS hospital I will be admitted is in Chandigarh (Derabassi) India. They have advised me that there is no guarantee that the treatment will cure my kidneys, but it may give me an opportunity to probably manage my life better until a kidney donor is found. With this hope, I would like to give them a go.
The treatment cost plus flights to and from Australia to Chandigarh is estimated to be between $15,000 and $20,000 Australian dollars (Aus$). I am in the process of accessing some of my super and hope to raise the balance through people’s generosity.
I would be very grateful if you can help towards the cost of this treatment for me.
