Dear Friends and Supporters,
I’m reaching out to you with hope and urgency. My dear friend Scott, who attended Harriton High Scool, grew up in Penn Vally Pennsylvania and now resides in Cleveland Ohio, is bravely battling ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). This disease has changed his life, but it hasn't dimmed his spirit or passion for music.
ALS is a 100% fatal, debilitating disease that eventually leaves a person completely paralyzed and dependent on care givers 24/7.
Despite being around for 200 years, there are no cures or quality treatments for ALS. Patients are told to get their affairs in order.
Scott is not just an incredible friend; he also was a successful attorney, loving husband to Marla, and a proud father to his three college-aged children—Noa, Aidan, and Jake. As he faces this challenge, it’s time for us to rally around him and his family.
The costs of necessary adjustments to their home, medical visits, alternative therapies and future 24/7 nursing care are truly overwhelming. We all want Scott to focus on what truly matters—creating lasting memories with Marla, their kids, family and friends.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant impact on Scott’s journey. Your support will help cover medical expenses and enhance his quality of life. Let’s show Scott and his family that they’re not alone in this fight.
Join us in rocking out for Scott and bringing hope to his heart. Your generosity will inspire him and countless others facing similar battles. Thank you for your love and support.
With gratitude,
Ellen Porter and Stacy Glass
