ALLURE Art Studio
To keep my inner artist alive and to invigorate the hidden artistic ALLURE in others, I am collecting funds to open my very own paint & sip studio and make the ALLURE by Amy Art brand come to life! The ALLURE Art Studio will be a B.Y.O.B. (bring your own beverage) venue in Hollis, Queens, hosting ethnic Paint Parties for all ages. We will provide the instructor, supplies, playlist/DJ and GOOD vibes and want to open by April of 2019!!
The A L L U R E Art Experience plans to bring a fun night out through entertainment and black art by hosting public and private two or three-hour painting classes where customers can enjoy amazing music and BYOB (bring your own beverage). Guests can choose to bring their friends, family, significant other, or child to an event and be guided step-by-step through a painting that gears toward an ethnic/cultural theme. After, they will leave with their own alluring masterpiece. The space will also serve as a venue rental space for art shows, pop-up shops, bridal showers, fitness classes, studio time, etc.
WHY AM I DOING THIS?
After being a teacher for 12 years, I finally decided to manifest myself as an ARTIST in November of 2017. After I did, opportunities started pouring my way and I knew I was living in my purpose. I participated in numerous paint classes, hosted my own paint parties, featured in 8 art shows, and created my own art gallery at home with my work. I never imagined that during this time, I would discover that my true ALLURE in life is to blend my skill of teaching and my love of painting together.
I've been a Paint Instructor for Paint & Sip Events for a few months and now God has provided me an opportunity to open The ALLURE Art Studio in the heart of Hollis, Queens and I need your help to bring my idea to life! Paint studios at other locations rarely feature art that reflects the beauty of black culture, and the musical playlists are also lacking in appeal. THERE IS NO OTHER ART STUDIO IN OUR COMMUNITY OF QUEENS THAT OFFERS ALL THESE FEATURES, PLUS PAINTINGS THAT REFLECT US! This is truly a gem to our community!

FUNDS ALLOCATED:
The funds requested will be allocated toward renovation of the space, restock of supplies, and branding expenses.
CLASSES TO BE OFFERED:
The A L L U R E Art Studio will offer packages where up to 50 participants can sign up for weekly paint events OR guests can host a private paint event for a special occasion!
Each week, public paint events we will feature a different party theme:
· Trap Allure (a mix of trap influenced paintings and of course trap music
· Island Allure (a mix of Caribbean influenced paintings and reggae/soca/afrobeats)
· Love Allure (a couple-themed painting with R&B and hip-hop love songs)
· 90's ALLURE (a night of throwback hits with a fun-themed painting)
· Ladies ALLURE (a girls-night-out paint event with a woman empowerment featured piece)
· Mama Allure/Daddy Allure (encourages artists to bring their mom/dad for a parent & child themed painting)
· Child’s Play (specifically for children, ages 3 and up, with a kid-friendly painting and a kid-friendly playlist)
· Nudes on Canvas (a paint event where guests can paint nude models)
· Allure & Glow - (glow in the dark painting event with black-lights and glowing accessories)
· Allure Brunch - (a brunch paint event with mimosas, brunch food, and R&B tunes)
The standard price points for classes will be: $43.00 for 2-hour paintings, and $25.00 for kid friendly/family paintings. Adult classes will include BYOB, all paint supplies, and a DJ or relevant playlist.
OTHER USES FOR THE SPACE:
Ultimately, The A L L U R E Art Studio will also be a venue rental to host art shows, bridal showers, pop-up shops, etc. which will allow us to display and sell stunning ALLURE by Amy pieces, alongside with promoting our future ventures and paint & sip events.
Along with hosting paint events, The A L L U R E Art brand will sell ALLURE art as original paintings, poster prints, framed prints, canvas prints, home décor, and accessories with A L L U R E art images.
