At Alafia we provide mental health services to the people of South Central LA - a population that is often underserved and limited in resources. We provide services to communities in Gardena, Palmdale/Lancaster and the Antelope Valley.

We work to insure that our neighborhoods have access to the help they need, regardless of income. And some times these needs go way beyond therapy.

When you can't feed your family, or you don't know where you'll live- that will always take precedent over self-care.

This is where you come in. Out of the 313 clients we have, 300 of them are children!

We want to make sure that children and their families have food to eat, clothes to wear and access to the same resources that other children have.

We want their holidays to be filled with laughter and joy. We want to fill in the gaps and continue spreading the importance of mental and TOTAL health for the people of South Los Angeles, Lancaster/Palmdale and Garedena. The future of these communities depend on the future of the children in them.
