Moore Family Medical Expenses

Taylor and Caroline Moore welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Anne Katherine Moore (AK), to their family on September 3, 2015. Shortly after birth, AK was admitted to the NICU after having trouble breathing. She was diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension and has been on a breathing tube since.

Since the day she was born, Taylor and Caroline have shown amazing strength and faith which has rubbed off on their daughter. Though no timetable has been set for her release from the NICU, the doctors are encouraged with her progress and hope to have her off of the breathing tube by September 13.

As most parents know, there is no law requiring paid maternity leave. Newborns are expensive already (and well worth it!), but add in the cost of weeks of NICU medical bills, increased doctors visits, medications, and the need for time off of work to bond and care for a newborn released from the NICU, financial situations can become tight for any family.

As a close friend of Taylor's for over 10 years, and both of us becoming a father to baby girls this year, we have been drawn even closer. With your help, we wish to ease the financial burden of medical expenses and time off of work for Taylor and Caroline so their time and energy can be spent bonding and caring for AK!
