Launched in July of 2015,  American Crossroads Radio has taken the world of online radio by storm with thousands of listeners all across the world. Joel Johnson and a small volunteer staff has taken it this far with a drive and a passion to celebrate who we are as a people.

The time has come to take it to the next level, but we need your help. Due to overwhelming listenership, we need to upgrade our licensing agreements, obtain new equipment for our live concert series, and take care of incorporation fees. 

What inspires the music, the pride of the Country?

Well, if you have seen it first-hand, you get it. It's in the air. It's in the music. It's in the heartfelt waves of strangers as you meet on an old dirt road. The real American spirit that defines us. It is the heart beat behind everything we do here.

To help understand  why we do what we do, we are sharing the thoughts of Joel Johnson, American Crossroads Radio founder and program director.

"For us, it's more than music, more than words.
It's our heritage as a people. We intend to preserve it.
After all, our children are depending on it.  I have been blessed to have been born in the dust of the red dirt that drives it and I intend to preserve it. It's no secret that I am passionate about preserving who we REALLY are as a people, as Americans. Embracing history's scars in effort to heal, while celebrating our rich history of making a difference in maintaining Liberty's torch of freedom to the world.

America is great because of its goodness, when we cease to be good, she will cease to be great (Tocqueville)
We truly aren't as different as those that seek to divide, would like us to believe.

An independent spirit, a deep respect for our heritage and a friendly smile. It's in the air roun' these parts.
As I watch pieces of our American fabric get ripped to shreds all around us, I am reminded  that there are a lot of us that understand the importance of our heritage and embrace the scars of our mistakes in order to appreciate the extraordinary liberties that was intended in our founding as a people of Faith. Music is a timeless thread that crosses the generations and weaves the memories into our life's very fabric.

I believe that heritage can't be bought, it must be taught, and the best lessons are taught through example. 

To understand a Cowboy's way of life, you must first understand his courage.
To understand his courage, you must understand his Faith in God.
That is the Real America.
The spirit that is defined in that Cowboy that continues to saddle up and stay the course across life's uncharted pastures, even when the bridle gets loose or his horse stumbles, he presses on.

Let's cowboy up, and continually find the courage that lives within us all to be the change we wish to see.

The Legends understood it.
Our listeners and some of the New Boots of American Made Country do too. We here at ACR believe that we have a foundation to preserve and a rich heritage to pass down.
