Supplies & Rides for Ukrainian Refugees

The Traveling Alphabet is back on the road but for a much bigger mission. We are heading to Berlin on Apr 10 where we will rent two vans and drive through Poland toward Ukraine where millions of refugees have escaped to.

Both Audrey and I will be driving separate vans (10 hours from Berlin to border) with one of the boys in each van acting as our navigator. They will also be the primary interpreter on the drive back.

Our goal is to use the money to buy medical supplies and hygiene products in Berlin, deliver those supplies to the refugee camps and then bring people back to Berlin. Berlin has a good network to handle this situation and we have contacts who can provide assistance.

100% of the money you give us will go to hygiene products, medical supplies, and van expenses. Every dollar helps. If we have any left over, we will donate it to the Red Cross and World Central Kitchen. If we are unable to go because of our safety, we will still donate all the money we raised plus some of our own to these organizations.

All our expenses (air, food, hotel) will be paid out of our pocket. A friend just did this and recently came back which inspired this mission and is guiding us and providing local contacts to increase our success.

I will post to Facebook throughout the trip and account for how all our money was spent via updates. We plan to return on Apr 18.
