Alyssa Austin Memorial Basketball Scholarship

Hi everyone, we started a go fund me to raise money for a scholarship we have been doing over the last few years in memory of Lyss. At Cedar Crest High School we will started the Alyssa Austin Memorial Basketball Scholarship, one seniors on the girls basketball team will receive it each year. We plan to keep this scholarship going for as long as we can. Cedar Crest Girls Basketball was such a huge part of Alyssa’s life and high school basketball career. There were many things Alyssa loved in life and basketball was one of the top things. Being part of a team and being a role model for younger players to look up to made her so proud. She did whatever she could to help them achieve their goals as players and be the best they could be. Alyssa achieved so many of her own goals as well as a falcon girls basketball player one of them being scoring over 1,000 career points. She decided to go off to Penn State to continue to play, she never wanted to give up basketball. Her love for basketball and helping people is why I think a basketball scholarship in her memory would make her so happy. If you can donate anything to this fund it will help us be able to continue with this scholarship for Lyss for many years to come. We Love you Lyss ❤️
