My Granddaughter's Mother battles cancer

Hi, my name is Anne Ashley Jones and two years ago my beautiful daughter-in-law was diagnosed with colon cancer. Elizabeth (Biz) is only 44 years old and she and my son, Ryan, have a 4 year old daughter named Grace. They have been married for ten years this September and currently reside in Spokane, WA.

They struggled to conceive for 5 years and decided to undergo expensive fertility treatment to start a family. With some help and a lot of prayers, they were blessed with their miracle child in 2019. Two years later Biz was diagnosed with colon cancer. Gracie had to watch her mother be sick for months enduring surgery, chemotherapy and constant testing. For nearly two years Biz was in remission and life was somewhat back to normal. Unfortunately, symptoms started to reoccur and it was confirmed that the cancer had returned. We first learned of this devastating news during our family reunion in Florida this past April. Biz now has another battle to endure!

After she received additional testing and pathology they started to explore options for treatment. In the cancer industry, very little progress has been made over the past 40 years with colorectal cancers and the universal standard is chemotherapy and radiation. Throughout this journey, they have done countless research to understand how to combat cancer through alternative methods. This led them to a Doctor and the Cancer Center for Healing in California, which takes an integrative approach to healing cancer patients. To pursue this treatment, she had to first quit her newly acquired job and make arrangements to travel, stay, and receive care far away from home. Even though the treatments are effective, it is not covered by insurance. Please help them with the financial side of this battle as they are taxed to get the necessary treatment to beat cancer again!
