A Breath of Hope for Markita

We need your help and prayers! Markita, a once vibrant and still passionate educator and dear friend, was hospitalized with pneumonia in December 2021. After battling the infection, her lungs have been left severely damaged, resulting in her needing assistance with oxygen 24/7. Doctors have struggled to diagnose Markita’s lung disease. After investigative procedures and tests, it's been determined that she will need infusion treatments to help clear her lungs as a way to help her breathe better temporarily. Still, doctors are saying that she will ultimately need a lung transplant. While we don’t have the power to heal her, unfortunately, we do have the power to pray for her health and healing. Also, by raising funds, we will help alleviate some of the financial burdens that have fallen on her and her family due to accumulating medical bills as doctors continue to find a path that will mend Markita.
