A Superhero on Wheels
Donation protected
Christina Nixon is battling brittle bone disease, a full intestinal transplant, cancer as a result of that transplant, countless hospital stays, numerous daily medications and pills, and many more medical conditions that would cause the average human to buckle.
But Christina Nixon is no average human. She’s a superhero on wheels!
Christina is studying to help children in the hospital as a child life specialist. She creates care packages for the homeless during cold weather. She reaches out to the needy and hurting. What’s more, you will rarely find Christina without a smile.
But this superhero needs your help, sidekick!
Her mobility van was totaled during a recent incident. These vans aren’t cheap. A new one could be more than $70,000. Even a used van runs approximately $48,000. This van, specially adapted for her use, is what gives her the freedom to continue her quest to bless the world.
Without her mobility van, Christina has no way to transport her powerchair anywhere. She cannot help sick children and the needy. She cannot get across the country to her special hospitals and appointments. She will be homebound.
Few people have suffered physically as much as she has. Fewer still have the same infectious joy and genuine care about others that she exhibits. If you’ve met her, you know she never complains, no matter how crappy the hand life has given her. That darn woman thinks of others so much more than herself and feels guilty asking for assistance.
And that’s where our super-mission begins, sidekick!
Please, consider doing what you can to help this amazing human. It doesn’t matter if you can only afford to contribute $5. Christina firmly believes that little kindnesses always add up.
Christina needs her super-wheels to carry on her mission of spreading peace and kindness through our world. This is our chance to help the woman who helps everyone else. If we unite together, Avengers-style, we can save the world for one incredible person who saves the world for us every day.
