Help El Reunite with Liam and Secure Their Future
Hello,
My legal name is Eric L Greeson.
The name I answer to is El.
I am a survivor of 30 years of Intimate Partner Domestic Violence (IPDV).
My abuser abducted our minor child, Liam (a child with some special needs), and I believe has transported him across the country to the state of Washington.
I am asking for help to bring Liam back into the lawful custody of his father.
I need funds for legal representation.
My abuser abandoned me while ill and seeking medical care in Albany, New York.
My abuser did so, taking the vast majority of our modest life savings for herself.
I have been, and am currently, homeless and still in need of specialized healthcare.
I do not have the means to secure legal representation.
All donations will go to:
- Retaining and securing legal representation
- Securing modest safe shelter for myself and Liam
- Securing family counseling therapy and trauma therapy for myself and Liam as well as other healthcare needs.
- A trust fund for Liam to secure his future freedom and safe space.
Please ignore the financial goal. I was required to put something. The truth is, I can't put a number on the unknown. My hope is that I will need far less. That with safe shelter and access to medical care my health will improve and my ability to provide for myself and for Liam will be adequate for self-sufficiency. I am hoping for a hand-up, not a hand-out.
