As a result, I'm doing a run from Dryden ON, to Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation on July 1, 2026. The run is for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, more specifically my Mom - Verna May Simard who was murdered on September 16, 2011. I'd like to raise awareness around this issue, while simultaneously raising money for a charity I genuinely believe in.
