A NICU journey far from home
Donation protected
Last week, while vacationing in Florida at the beach with family, Briana began experiencing pregnancy complications. She was taken to the local ER, where it was determined that her water had broken at just 23 weeks of pregnancy. The plan was, of course, to keep the baby safely inside for as long as possible. Unfortunately, on the evening of June 22nd, doctors had to perform an emergency C-section.
Chandler Emmie Page was born weighing just over 1 pound. She was immediately taken to the NICU and connected to every machine imaginable. Mom and baby are both doing as well as can be expected, given the circumstances.
As you can imagine, the financial burden of having a baby in the NICU is extremely overwhelming. Not only are they facing substantial medical costs, but they are also eight hours away from home and unable to return until Chandler is discharged—which doctors estimate may not be until September.
We are reaching out for any and all support you are willing to give. Monetary donations, prayers, and any other forms of help are deeply appreciated. Taylor will soon return home to work and care for their 3-year-old son, leaving Briana and Chandler in Florida. Briana will need to find a place to stay for the next few months, adding further financial strain to an already difficult situation.
Please consider donating to support this young family and keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Every bit of help makes a meaningful difference. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
