On August 19, my family and I experienced a devastating tragedy—we lost our home in a fire. As I was returning home, I saw smoke pouring from the front door and rising from the roof. My heart sank.

I immediately rushed inside because my pets were still in the house. My cat was barely clinging to life, vomiting from the smoke, and my puppies were terrified, struggling to breathe. In desperation, I grabbed a hose and tried to put out the flames myself, but it was no use. The fire spread too quickly, and it felt like forever before fire rescue arrived.

By the time the flames were finally under control, everything we owned was gone. Not a single personal belonging could be saved. Our home, our memories, and all of our possessions were lost in a matter of moments.

We are fundraising to rebuild our lives and find a new place to call home. Any support you can provide will help us get back on our feet and start anew. Thank you for your kindness and generosity during this incredibly difficult time.
