Hi Everyone!
My names Hannah Crawford and this is the “what’s the problem” blurb.
I’m attempting to fix my car which would cost about $3,000 I don't have, I payed about 9,000 for the car when I first bought it and the repairs would be a LOT cheaper then buying a new car
What happened was this- My girlfriend and I were driving in Kentucky and my coolant burst, my oil ran dry and my engine froze up. I had recently had my car checked and my oil done so none of that should have happened. Apparently it's a possibility for the year and model of my car (Subaru Forester 2012) to do this but there's no recalls for the engine in question- which means it’ll be out of pocket :(
The person who sold me the car (and who fixes it) felt super bad and offered for me to pay just for a “new” engine and $500 for his labor- he said he would fix everything else (a crazy deal).
I’m moving out to Kalamazoo in a month for college and my family currently only has one car. Fixing my car would allow me to go back and forth between my house and my Girlfriend’s house (where my cat will be while I’m in college) without stress on my peoples sides. It will also allow me to not have to buy a new car from scratch, and give me better job opportunities because of the accessibility - allowing me to pay off loans faster.
If you can’t donate I totally understand, but if you can, I thank you, I thank you, I thank you.
All the best and all my love,
Hannah Crawford
